First Pair of C32B Engines Installed in “Iron Leader”

North America’s first pair of 2,433 MHP C32B engines are being installed into a 70 Jarrett Bay sport fisherman “Iron Leader” in Beaufort, NC. Installed by professional marine propulsion teams from Gregory Poole and Caterpillar, Inc., the next generation of 12-cylinder diesels will be providing owners with a significant on-the-water performance boost thanks to the new sequential (3-turbo) air system.

The all-new Cat^® C32B 2,433 MHP (2400 BHP) high-performance marine engines boast a 20% increase in power and 25% noise reduction with advanced unit injection systems at low speeds.
